When you purchase a home overlooking a spectacular natural area, you want to enjoy the view. Our clients contacted us to help remove a large fireplace obstructing views of a nearby basin and marshes. The renovation gained added scope in its early stages when a storm sent a tree through the roof. (And then the pandemic hit. What extraordinarily patient homeowners these were!) We removed the fireplace, replaced the roof and reconstructed the front entry, adding new windows throughout the home, new floors, a new entry door and a sleek exterior color update. The 1959 home feels refreshed for a new century.
